Ebenezer Baptist Church is a rural church with a desire to serve a Great God. In this world of uncertainty, God's promises as found in His Word are steadfast. In 1910, Ebenezer Baptist Church was organized. We are thankful for those who prayed and labored through the years for Ebenezer Baptist Church and this community. The new building was completed in 1983. The church added more Sunday School rooms and a fellowship hall in 1999. The church has continued to grow through the years. Ebenezer Baptist Church cooperates with the Southern Baptist Convention. Each Southern Baptist church is autonomous. Southern Baptist Churches choose to unite in supporting missionary work in North America and around the world. The Cooperative Program of SBC is the largest missionary agency in the world. Ebenezer Baptist Church fully supports the work of the SBC.

Ebenezer Baptist Church voted in 1998 to be uniquely aligned with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. This church is conservative in its theology and practice. As a Baptist church, we accept the Bible as the inspired and inerrant Word of God. The Bible is the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. We believe that the preaching and teaching of the Word of God must be the focus of all that we do as a church. We believe we honor God and exalt Him by remaining faithful to His Word. We believe that salvation is the work of God by grace alone through faith.

We strongly adhere to the fundamentals of the faith. We are in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message of the Southern Baptist Convention. We reject the "politically correct" message and many of the contemporary trends offered today. We believe the focus of the church must be directed to the worship of God by honoring Christ and His Word. We believe our music should keep us focused on the truth of God's Word and not be distracting or mere entertainment. Music that presents the gospel as entertainment has cheapened the priceless and precious truth of the gospel message. Genuine worship should warm the heart, strengthen our faith and lead us to a deeper understanding and devotion to God.
